The Puffco Proxy Travel Pack bundles a silicone backpack, ball cap, carb cap and tether, and mouthpiece. Here's what each piece does and when the kit is worth adding.
Quick answer
The Puffco Proxy Travel Pack is a four-piece accessory kit that adds scratch protection, extra storage, a flat base, and a more sanitary mouthpiece to your Proxy. It's worth it if you regularly carry your Proxy in a bag or share it, but it is not a hard-shell case.
What the kit protects and what it doesn't
The Travel Pack is built around a silicone backpack that wraps the Proxy, adding scratch protection and a flat surface on the bottom so the device sits more steadily. That makes it useful for tabletop sessions and for tossing the Proxy into a bag without worrying about scuffs.
It does not turn the Proxy into a waterproof or crushproof case. If you need hard-shell protection for rough travel, this kit is a cushion, not armor.
When the mouthpiece and carb cap earn their place
The included mouthpiece covers the glass tip, which protects it and makes passing the Proxy around more sanitary. The carb cap and tether keep your extract where it belongs instead of migrating into the silicone or onto your fingers.
If you mostly vape alone at home and never share, the mouthpiece is less essential, but the carb cap and tether still help contain mess during loading and sessions.
Puffco Proxy Travel Pack FAQ
- What comes in the Puffco Proxy Travel Pack?
- Four items: a silicone backpack, a Proxy Ball Cap, a carb cap with tether, and a mouthpiece. The backpack adds storage and scratch protection, the ball cap provides 360° directional airflow, and the mouthpiece covers the glass tip.
- Is the Travel Pack a case?
- It is a silicone sleeve-and-accessory kit, not a hard case. It protects against scratches and adds a flat base, but it does not seal the Proxy or cushion it against heavy impacts. Pair it with a padded pouch if you need drop protection.
- When is the Travel Pack worth it?
- Buy it if you often carry your Proxy in a bag, want a steadier base for tabletop use, or share sessions and prefer a covered mouthpiece. Skip it if your Proxy stays on a shelf and you already have a carb cap you like.
- Does the ball cap change the hit?
- The Proxy Ball Cap is designed for 360° directional airflow, which can make hits more consistent than the stock setup. It is the same style of cap sold separately, so the kit is mainly a convenience bundle.
- Can I use the pieces separately?
- Yes. The backpack, ball cap, carb cap, and mouthpiece each work on their own, so you can leave the backpack on at home and pocket only the mouthpiece when you go out.
