Mugwort - Effect Herb

Mugwort has been used in spiritual ceremonies and rituals spanning the globe, and continues to be one of the most popular divination herbs in many communities today. Indiginous Americans often smoked the herb or rubbed it on their skin to connect with friendly spirits and protect them from evil spirits. It is still used heavily in East Asian cultures as a smudging herb. It is thought to promote vivid, lucid, and pleasant dreams. Smoking dried Mugwort leaves is believed to be the most effective way to enjoy the benefits of its active components. Users say it produces a calm/mellow feeling, while the smoke is said to be softer on the throat and ‘fluffy’, with a pleasant, slightly sweet flavor.
